Art Direction/Production Design

My role and the area I wish to specialise in now and for my eventual career is Art direction. The Art department is responsible for the look of the film, from set designs, props, locations. However for this project I will most likely be acting in more of the role of production designer as I will be responsible for almost every part of the visual design of the film including costumes and make-up as well as set design and props and I will also be in charge of the budget for the art department. Because of this I will be working very closely with the Director and Producer.
